So I can feel good about myself (again).

Assent of mind.
In theory;
I believe everything you say (said)
And when the time is
Ripe
...Right
I might:
Do nothing
(though since nothing is something:)
Do something
(though since this is only my theory:)
Do what feels good.
(though since this assent is stale:)
Return.
Assent of Soul.

i love the play of punctuation here and the interrupted movement with the parenthesis!!

the poem has a very intimate tone b/c of these, and i love how the thoughts of the author/narrator are so raw in the "ripe/...right/i might:" there's a clear rhyme scheme that constrasts the fuddled thoughts of the narrator, and it sounds really nice.

great use of closing by return! does the change from "mind" to "soul" mean acting rationally to intuitively?
